The Hanged Man Tarot card traditionally evokes suspension, surrender, and seeing the world from a new perspective.

But what if that perspective comes slithering, warm and wet, from the inside out? What if surrender is the soft snap of the body as it gives into a new shape? What if enlightenment burrows inside, rewriting you, cell by cell, into something you no longer recognise?

This is body horror: transformation that drips, mutates, and multiplies. The grotesque beauty of flesh in flux— shifting, splitting, growing. A reminder that we are soft things. Never fixed. Never fully in control.
